Eighteenth Death 〰 [Accidental Video?]

[The video starts out black with a light buzzing sound. Tatsumi's voice is muffled and there is a few seconds of shuffling sounds. When the light hits the camera, it's obvious Tatsumi is taking the device from his pocket. One of his bushy eyebrows rises as he glances down at it.]

So, it actually DOES shock ya if ya ignore it! Huh...

[There is a flash of lightning, followed by a roll of thunder. It's probably clear now he is stuck out in the middle of the intense storms in Dissimulo, hanging out under a tree.]

Hey, Doctor Weiss guy! Need to talk to ya when ya got a moment. Maybe I can drop by? I don't really know where ya at, though...

[He takes a look around, looking quite lost, himself. he goes to open his mouth to say more but at that very moment the screen floods with white. There is a intake of breath mixed with thunder and a couple of thuds, one being the werepire's body collapsing.]

((OOC: Tatsumi is NOT DEAD. Responses will happen after a few moments, when he regains consciousness. Action is fine if anyone is foolish enough to have seen him get struck by the lightning or go after him.))

[He is smiling, looking pretty stoked about this turn of events, even if he can't feel his legs]

I'm Tatshumi! ... [ok, trying that again with less slurr?] Tat-suu-miiii.

Tatsumi. That sounds familiar.... Oh yeah, Marco mentioned you.

[He looks over and sure enough there is blood on his shoulder]

Marco did? He'sh cool. Good to fight with kind of guy.

[Suddenly, his eyelids droop and his head falls as he loses consciousness for a few more minutes]

[ Stop doing that, it's mildly worrisome!! Hong Kong will just silently peer at the communicator. It's not like he can really, explicitly do anything. Well, he could call someone. ]

I wonder if this is normal.

[Not much later he comes bout again, turns the device on.]

Hey... hi. Ya.

I think I fell asleep again. Ha ha.

[What he does do is try to move again, his legs responding for the first time but not completely so. he falls over a bit more and pushes himself back up against the VERY SAME TREE he was standing under before.]

Man, tonight is a weird night, eh?

Yeah, you passed out. Maybe you oughta lie still until someone comes. [ No, seriously. He's not easily flustered, but this is getting a mite ridiculous. ]

... Yeah, a weird night. Something other than getting hit by lightning making it weird?

Nobody comin'... unless Alfred does but he'll probably just get hit to. Probably should try to convince him not to come out here. Hopefully he's sleepin' or something and won't notice.

[He sits there a moment in silence, feeling the needle prick feeling race through his legs. Admitting he had an argument with England is out of the question, even if he faked almost everything.]

Ha ha, not really. I think getting hit by lightning is weird enough for one night, ya?

Alfred, meaning America, yeah? [ He's remembering the context of his discussion with Marco. ]

Normally I'd say so, but it sounded like there was something else.

Ya! So used to callin' him Alfred since he's my boyfriend. It helps with the other America around. Easier to tell who I'm talkin' about.

[His smile falters a moment as he finds it still difficult to breathe. He ponders why his regenerative abilities haven't kicked in as fast as usual. Little doe she know, they have, it's just the damage was greater than it looks.]

Ha ha, did it? I've got a lot on my mind, so maybe ya not wrong.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. [ To both parts. ] Marco told me you were dating. Good luck with that.

[ He gives Tatsumi a look, possibly sizing him up or trying to decide how to address that. ]

Maybe you were distracted. [ And thus, lightning? ]

Thanks! We make the best team! We can even pick each other up! He likes piggy-back rides!

[What is he saying? he's kind of blabbering. All well. You size him up, Hong Kong... he is just going to try and move his legs some more]

Ya! I think the communicator shocked me but then I don't know what happened. I guess that's when the lightning struck?

[ Sorry, but he has moments of very little pretense and this is one of them: ] That sounds crazy.

[ Blabbering or not, Hong Kong is a little unsure of how to handle this one. He sort of thinks he might just let Tatsumi lead the conversation. Again, blabbering or not. ]

Everything went white.

It's true! Ask Alfred!! He loves being carried around n' stuff!!!

Oh. So I guess so, unless we've got white shadow people now instead of the dark ones.

None of you nations or countries have lightning powers, right?

[ He pauses. ] No, no lightning powers I'm aware of. Why do you ask?

Uh, just wondering. Wish I could say everyone loves me, but they don't.

[ This is fascinatingly confusing. ] Won't be long 'til what?

I guess that's good for him, isn't it? [ Meaning it's hard to just go out and find someone who lives a crazy-long amount of time without it being another country. Actually, it's less stable if it is another country. But... he's not really sure how those kinds of alliances work, actually, since he's never been in one. ]

He's probably been reading too much Stephanie Meyer. What exactly is his objection?
