First Blood 〰 [Video]

[Video cuts in to show a man with light blue hair and yellow eys, looking down with a calculating expression. It suddenly shages to a more surprised one, though]

Oh, there it goes...

[He gives a smile and salutes with his right hand]

Ya! Tatsumi here. I'm using this, as instructed. Can you hear me?

[He pauses to look around at the over-done decorations, standing under a bunch of wreaths and bows and colored ornaments galore... not to mention a mistletoe hiding in all of it]

The decorations are great, not that I know where I am, but isn't it a bit early for this? Christmas isn't for a few more months, right?

I don't know where that is or how to get there. I see a bunch of messed up stores. How many people are here? Are there a lot? What if they don't like me?

Do you see a street sign? There are Latimir, Horton and Marshall apartments named after the streets. It might be a little hard to find..

I'm not sure.. Probably a lot. I don't know a lot of people, but.. I would be happy if we could become friends.

Oooooh! I see one. It says "Ingles trail."

[He brightens back up at the mention of being friends]

That's not very far away. The street running behind that is Marshall, the one behind that Horton and the one behind that one Latimir. Then the next one is Gohl Avenue. [ Guess who memorized everything extremely fast?

Kotomi-chan. Got it! It is a wonderful name. hey! Since it's supposed to be Christmas soon, does that mean there is a Santa-san here?

I think any would be good.. I live in Latimir though, so I can't say anything about the other buildings.

[ Have a smile at that remark. She's rather proud of her name. ] Yes. If you write a letter, Santa might give you the presents you want.

[ Kotomi isn't the fastest, but it takes about ten minutes or so for her to arrive on the road, looking around a bit suspiciously in case a monster might jump out from somewhere. Even though she hasn't seen them personally. The girl looks a bit relieved when she spots Tatsumi. Have one of those formal Japanese bows and all. ]

Good day. [ Staring to walk over now. ]

[Despite the hot pants he is wearing, with the shiny back pockets, he returns a formal bow, taking from his more butler-like duties.]

Good Day, Kotomi-chan. Thank you for meeting me out here.

[ Luckily Kotomi is oblivious to most things, including Tatsumi's ~~interesting sense of fashion~~ hot pants. ]

Thank you very much. [ She points in the direction she just came from. ] It's that way.. It isn't too far to walk.

I'm okay. [ Says the girl who normally walks around barefoot. Although with this cold she is wearing shoes. ] I'm just outside for a little bit, after all.

Ya! Lets go. [He starts walking with her in the direction she pointed. Although he is walking beside her, he still letting her lead where they are going]

If I knew I was going to be abducted, I would have worn something warmer.

[ Back when Sunohara had come to pick her up they had been running, but.. Tatsumi looked like a strong person (even if he did seem like a lost puppy at times), so she thought it should be okay to walk, even if a monster might appear. ]

I only have my school uniform too. It's a bit cold at times, but.. you get used to it.

[He breathes, seeing his breath hang in the air for a moment. It helps keeps a smile on his face]

Tomoya-kun is.. my most precious friend from back home. [ It should be noted how happy she looks from just saying that. ] Did you have many friends?

[Kotomi's smile is greeted with a small soft smile from Tatsumi before he perks back up again]

Ya! I'd do anything for Sunako. She is my most precious friend.

[He stops abruptly, jerking his attention to look behind them. He turns back around after not seeing any movement after a moment.]

You said it's not far, right?

[ She's completely oblivious at Tatsumi's sudden stop, but stares and blinks at him for a moment when he asks the question. ]

That's right. It's that building over there. [ Pointing at a building about two buildings further down the street. ]

[He continues walking, despite half-aware something may be following them]

It looks a little better then the other buildings. Is it warm inside?

Hmm, the heating still works, somehow. I think it's nice of them to just provide a place to stay for us like this.

That's good I can't wait to warm back up.

[he peeks behind them once more, a bit more discreetly. He sees the wiggle of some decorations but nothing beyond that]
